Vault's annual Internship Survey is right around the corner. This video explains everything you need to know about this year's survey.

The 2025 Vault Internship Survey is here! In this video, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about participating — from the benefits of the survey to who should take it, key deadlines, and what happens after the results are in. Let’s get started!

Question 1: Is there a cost to participate?

First things first — participating in the Vault Internship Survey is completely free. There are no hidden costs and absolutely no pay-to-play.

Question 2: What are the benefits of participating?

The benefits of participating are substantial. Your organization will have the opportunity to be recognized as one of our Top Internship Programs globally.

You may also appear in our specialty rankings, including: Most Prestigious Internships, Best Internships by Key Employment Factor, Best Internships by Role, and Best Internships by Industry

Additionally, our editorial team will create detailed online profiles of participating programs, including key insights and anonymous intern testimonials.

Question 3: Who sees these rankings and profiles?

Our rankings and profiles reach a massive audience. Vault partners with hundreds of campuses worldwide, giving students reliable career insights as they plan their next move — at both the undergrad and graduate levels.

Question 4: When does the survey open and close? When will the rankings be announced?

The survey opens on June 11th and closes on August 22nd, 2025. The 2025 Internship Rankings will be released on Wednesday, October 22nd. If your program is ranked, a Vault team member will contact you well before the public announcement.

Question 5: Who should take the survey?

Eligible participants include: All 2025 summer interns, undergrad and graduate as well as any interns who joined your program from September 2024 onward. And, the best news, the survey is short and simple — it should take no more than 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Question 6: How to Share the Survey & Recommended Participation?

Vault will send you a unique survey link and brief instructions. Simply forward that link to your interns. We encourage you to send the survey to as many interns as possible. To qualify for rankings, we typically require at least 20 completed surveys. If your program is smaller, with 10–20 interns, let us know — we may still be able to work with you.

Question 7: How will I know who’s completed the survey?

All survey responses are completely anonymous. However, we’ll keep you updated weekly with total participation numbers.
